Dr. Thomas G. Akre elected President of the Indiana Osteopathic Association

Dr. Thomas G. Akre, founder of Institute for Orthopedic & Nerve Surgery in Mishawaka, was elected the President of the Indiana Osteopathic Association at is 112th Annual Convention held April 30 - May 3, 2009, in Indianapolis. Dr. Akre has been serving patients in the community since 2001 and is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in all types of general orthopedics. Osteopathic medicine uses conventional medicine as well as manipulative measures to promote health.
