Raymond Rene L. Canda, RPT brings his 24 years of clinical expertise as a Physical Therapist in our new and state of the art Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic. Raymond completed his clinical training in Myofascial Release, a manual therapy technique for use in the treatment of pain syndromes, orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. He has also achieved and accomplished advanced training in the age-specific evaluation and treatment of orthopedic conditions, neuro-muscular deficits, musculoskeletal issues, pain management, industrial medicine-workman’s compensation, repetitive motion injuries and athletic related injuries. IN addition, Raymond is certified in Neuro-developmental Techniques (NDT) in Pediatrics.
To assist our area employers and case managers in keeping their workforce healthy and working at their optimum, Raymond has completed his certification in the performance of Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE). Raymond also has extensive experience in work-hardening, work-conditioning and work-simulation in the rehabilitation of the “industrial athlete”. Raymond recently earned his certification in the STAR Program, a highly specialized cancer rehabilitation training program for healthcare workers treating cancer survivors as well as those who are active in treatment. With a STAR Program certified therapist on staff, Allied Physical Therapy can accept cancer rehabilitation referrals from area oncologists, hospitals and other healthcare providers.
