Born and raised in Detroit, MI and graduating from Notre Dame High School, Dr. Roger W. Jump III enrolled at Michigan State University for his undergraduate studies where he earned a bachelor’s degree in human biology and specializing in bioethics, humanities, and society. After his time spent teaching an MCAT preparatory course in the area, Dr. Jump remained in East Lansing to earn his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from MSUCOM. Dr. Jump returned to the Detroit area for his residency training in Urological Surgery through the St. John Providence Health System, where he remained committed to education through projects with hospital nursing staff and local high school students, and was honored to be named surgical resident of the year.
Dr. Jump looks to provide personalized patient care across all facets of urology. His practice addresses and promotes men’s health and sexuality. He incorporates the precision of DaVinci robotic surgery to resolve both benign and malignant conditions of the genitourinary system. He also enjoys endourology and treating all forms of urinary stone disease.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jump loves being outdoors with his high-school-sweetheart-turned-wife Michelle and their two young children. His other interests include film, food, philosophy, home improvement, college athletics, snowboarding, technology of all kinds, guitar, and the occasional round of golf.
Dr. Jump joined Urology Associates of South Bend in July of 2016.
