Sleep Medicine

Sleep Medicine

Our sleep physician is board certified in both Sleep Medicine and Otolaryngology. There are only a handful of physicians nationwide who have these certifications. This unique combination provides the expertise to treat all sleep disorders and to diagnose, treat and provide alternatives to CPAP for those patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Common symptoms include snoring, tiredness, morning headaches, difficulty falling or staying asleep and leg pain when falling asleep. There are several common medical problems associated with obstructive sleep disorders, including hypertension, heart attack, stroke, Type 2 diabetes and weight gain. The first step to feeling better begins with a visit to our sleep doctor who can decide if you are a candidate for a standard sleep study or a test in your own home. Next we will develop a treatment plan specific to you including attention to natural and office based non-invasive treatments and surgical options if necessary.

Conditions treated include:

  • Insomnia & other circadian rhythm disorders
  • Obstructive Sleep Apea
  • Narcolepsy
  • Snoring
  • Shift Work
  • Excessive Daytime Sleepiness
  • Rhinology (Nose conditions)
